Voices Part 1.

Connor walks in

Hannah twitches and sneezes on Arman. Then after giving him a large wolfish grin, she gets up, stretches, and pads over to Connor.

Connor raises a brow at the wolf Hannah for a brief second before shrugging as he makes his way to his usual

Hannah raises a paw in greeting at Connor and then continues to trail after him, nose lowered to the ground, following his scent absently.

Hannah lays down, fur tinting blue-green slowly, "How are you?"

Connor shrugs "Alright," he says as he leans forward towards the lake and it's shimmering waters

Hannah looks at him, red eyes turning a sea green, "Only alright? Interesting." She hums, dipping her snout into the water experimentally.

Connor watches the water as two orbish spheres of water rise from the water. Connor stared into the orbs as if they were the very eyes into his own soul, which to him, they were. Water was all he was all he cared about. But when he looked into these orbs, they seemed different to him now than they did weeks ago. He felt that everything had changed since that fight yesterday. He had summoned rage to his aid, but it had changed him more than anything else can. 'It was your so-called 'friends' a voice spoke in the back of his mind as if trying to manipulate him to show his rage again. "Shut up" Connor muttered to himself unaware he had spoken out loud. It took all he could to quell this voice, but what was it? His fears manitesting, or something worse? Ignoring his questions he sunk the orbs back into the water before taking the time to answer Hannah's question with a fake grin "Yeah, alright"

Hannah pulls her snout from the water as she turns to look at him, fur now green and black, eyes matching. She moves, trying to place an overly large paw on his lap, "No you're not." She says quietly with dark green eyes flashing bright for a second, concern being her main emotion. "Something is bothering you. Because I know that smile isn't real. Also, you just said shut up, and I know it wasn't directed at me, love." She states simply, the wolf tilting her head. She had no idea why she was still in this form, but she didn't really mind. It was warm, and she still had wings, so okay. "Tell me what's wrong, Connor."

Connor shook his head with a sigh. He hated lying to his friends, but was the voice right? Were they really his friends it they would rather fight each other, than help him. He shook his head again tying to drive these thoughts from his mind. As of right now, he didn't need these doubts crawling their way around. As of right now, Hannah was the only one he could speak to, who had a similar experience, not the same, but similar. Besides- 'Do not trust her. we must instead strike her down while she is showing weakness' 'SHUT UP' Connor shouted in the very fabrics of his mind. He attempted to regain control for a few seconds before speaking aloud to Hannah "I've been... uh... hearing a voice in my mind" He spoke. Most people who he said that to would check him into a mental Hospital, wizard or not. So to him it sounded strange to say out loud. But Hannah, he knew would understand. Hopefully.

Hannah looks at the boy, and flinches at the explanation. The wolf's eyes widen and she looks at him, resisting the urge to move away from him. "A voice?" She whines, the sound more like what it was meant to be. The wolf was acting on instict. Voices that no one could hear but yourself, they'll slowly drive him crazy... They'll rip him apart until he's a shell of what he was... Or worse... Hannah flinches, the green wolf looking at Connor warily, eyes fixed on him as if looking for something that could help her in anyway. He'll become like us... With a snarl, almost as demonic as she was in her fiery form, she stares at him. "What kind of voice? In contrast to your personality, what is it?" She questions quietly, standing, turning to face him, just to keep an eye on him. She had to, otherwise, she'd be trying to run.

As soon as the first word was spoken, Connor had given up. Here comes the worst' he had thought, 'I'll be sent to Azkaban, where I can go insane without the possibility of harming someone. At least I'll have somebody to talk to.' 'You should fight, strike now, and escape the horrid place of Azkaban, and destroy everything in your way' "SHUT UP!!" he shouted at the voice in his mind, no doubt proving his sanity, as he speaks "Violent. Definitely violent. And manipulative." He says as in his mind he's drawn back to when the voice first appeared "Do you remember the fight that almost happened yesterday?" he rambled remembering every moment of the night "It came to be sometime after I summoned all of the rage I could, and sometime before I left" he remembered the voice planting the seeds of doubt right before he left. "It happened sometime between those points."

Hannah watches Connor with a curious gaze and tilts her head, alert. At the shout, she shrinks back with a yelp. Hannah listens to him again, and nods once, she had voices like that. As her stance relaxes and she simply lays on the floor, looking at the boy, she sighs, and shakes her head, "I know that I wanted to help you. Then that girl said something, and all I can feel is rage and just... nothing." She whispers. It happened when she couldn't control it, and it was dangerous. Just knowing she'd once more gotten to that point. It had been years since she exploded like that. Years. "I remember feeling extreme fear, and Shini-hi has said something about water since... But I... Nothing." She repeats quietly, placing one paw over her muzzle gently. "Sorry."

Connor nods understanding completely, "It's fine. Besides, what really matters to me now, is not whether or not my friends have fought, that's behind me now." he says emphazizing the me "What matters is finding out what the voice is" as if on cue the voice began speaking again 'Destroy, kill it now, Raze everything to the ground' Connor grimmaced at the sound of the voice returning. "Anyways. I was hoping that you could help me. After all you have a bit of... experience with voices" Throwing up a sheild in his mind to try and mute the insane voice. At least it was only destructive now, instead of manipulative. Sighing, he leaned back wondering if he would ever be rid of the voice.

Hannah looks at Connor through green eyes, and they flash black, then blue, then red, before back to the green, cycling through each of her forms' eyes. "I hate to say this. And I now you don't want to hear it... But, Connor... We think it is you." As her voice changes mid-sentence, her fur darkens slightly, and she looks away. "It is not nice to hear, and we really do not like saying this. However, it is the conclusion we have come to..." She sighs, dipping a paw into the water. "It just sounds too familiar." She ads, voice normal again now she'd processed that she'd told him their opinion. "Fury, rage, anger... Then a voice... It's like Kurayami all over again, just not me." She says. It wasn't set in stone, it could be something else. Hannah, however was certain that Connor would know if he were being possessed or controlled. "We think it is your past catching up with you."

If Connor could, as he was seated, he'd stumble backwards at her words "How can it be?" He asked. the harshness of the truth not quite getting to him "I am a tactical person. I don't go around killing everyone and burning things to the ground, all while manipulating people." His thoughts began to meld with the voices as he spoke one more time, his voice a distorted mess "I'm not him" He spoke as he and the voice in his mind swirled faster and faster as their voices meld before stopping "Look. It all started when I summoned all rage I could. "Could it be that the rage just manifested instead of dispersing like it was supposed to?"

Hannah shrugs at Connor once and sighs with a roll of wise eyes. "It could be. But we stand by what we said." Claims the wolf, standing and stretching her wings and legs. "We think it's a part of you, that you don't want to know about or remember. You may not change like us, not many do... But no matter what happens... You're our friend." Whispers the large wolf softly, before shifting into something alike a bow, "We will always stand by you, Connor."

Connor stands up shock controlling his body "It can't be!" he shouts with utmost conviction. "That voice and I, we are not the same, and he is not me" He starts to walk away but finds himself stopping right before leaving. 'Can she be right? Can the voice really be a piece of me? I can't believe that' he chants determinedly as he heads for the exit 'I can't believe that I can't believe that.' Until finally he reaches the exit and he speaks instead of thinks "I can believe that" before walking out.

Hannah looks after Conner and sighs, "Poor kid." Mutters the wolf, before trotting out absently, shaking her head.
